A feature of this build is the split level roof that covers the main section of the home. Whilst providing a well raised roofing area, the top section acts as an insulating umbreller for the roof section beneathe it. Not only does it keep this are of the home much cooler without using any energy it also allows air to flow between the two roof levels resulting in ventilation to help extract all of the gathering hot air in the summer months.
