Our clients love where they live in a house that even though was built in the 60s was very cutting edge. They found the space and functionality needed to move with their lifestyle.
New plans were drawn up to build an extension with seamless integration between the house and garden.
An extension to the kitchen and dining room was designed, with the need to pile around the main sewer running through the new footprint, lifting the existing ceiling level over the new kitchen, which allowed us to install highlight windows.
We also added large cavity sliding doors to alfresco areas to take full advantage of the garden views. The room now fills with light and the room feels even more spacious.
Flooring levels were millimetre perfect to allow for the existing timber flooring to be extended through the living area and seamlessly joining the new decking.
