The Goose restaurant sits on the best piece of real estate in Busselton and the lapping waves of Geographe Bay are a stones throw away. Our client, born and bred in Busselton, wanted his new restaurant to be as much a part of Busselton as he was.
Drawing on inspiration from the forms of the Busselton Jetty Interpretive Centre, we designed this new building to be a permanent part of the Busselton foreshore and the icon which it has become known.
The large open plan restaurant has the ability to be sectioned off and reduced in size to cater for the user demand that varies from season to season. This also allows the restaurant to be used in a multitude of ways to accomodate different user groups at the same time.
