Established in 2006, Zibah Artworks has created custom artworks for the high end interior design and architectural markets, both locally and nationally.
Deborah Zibah, proprietor, has made it her priority to engage closely with the client, architect and designer for each project, to discuss and explore diverse concepts identifying the individuality and aesthetic values of the client. Deborah launches into a thorough exploration of ideas; formal, stylistic and technical elements, images and information needed to strengthen and resolve conceptual possibilities which assist in planning the perfect work of art for the space and ensure complete satisfaction for the client.
The eclectivity, diversity and innovation of her work is an added bonus when it comes to choosing the ideal painting for the client. Whether it be an abstracted representation of a landscape, a dreamy, restfully flowing piece from her ‘Estuary’ series, a lively, highly coloured work from her ‘Flight’ series, or an arresting, dramatic abstract painting, her artworks provide a powerful catalyst to spark lively discussion and interaction, or bring that special WOW! factor to enhance the ambience of the environment.
Each artwork is professionally handcrafted, prepared, and created in Deborah’s studio, close to the Serpentine River. Deborah utilises unusual materials to create her paintings from: bitumen, grasstree resin, shellac, wood stain, industrial enamel and beeswax medium among them. She paints outside her studio, undercover, amongst the trees and is regularly visited by an assortment of native birds who fly in for their handful of almonds.
The longevity and sustainability Zibah Artworks has enjoyed is due to the attention to detail, sophistication, the highest level of quality and personal integrity of the company. Deborah is on a continual quest to pursue excellence in her work and personal life.

The deep, chunky, clean edged supports upon which I paint on, make the ideal platform for expansive, contemporary spaces. Most of these works are commissioned and custom built, elevating the status and ambience of the home, office or corporate spaces. |
